From City of Largo: Code Enforcement has been notified

That house is a rat trap and has been for years. It needs to be bulldozed

I worry about the safety of kids and pets around this house, it looks like it could literally fall down!

This issue is NOT closed! This "house" and I use that term VERY loosely, has degraded to the point that the school bus stops had to be moved for safety reasons.

More rats, more mosquitoes, more broken windows, more garbage.

Are you by chance in unincorporated Pinellas County? We've been having similar problems. Passing the buck, there is no money, blah, blah, blah....Keep at it!

Incorporated Largo. From what I have been told, CODE haslied to the residents on several issues unrelated. We're on our own here folks in Larghetto.

If the Watch in the area goes to city council please post it so myself and neighbors can join you at the meeting.

It's deplorable that the city is taking this stance, the house is a rat trap and uninhabitable but anything but rats. While I understand the house is I believe in probate, the taxes are current, this is rediculous. There is NO active property maintenance company currently and it appears to be getting worse.

We are doing a neighborhood cleanup on June 23rd however the Hillsdale house is NOT included in the cleanup per code and the City planners office.

Simply contacting an elected official is NOT going to do much of anything as this has already occured and the City has no answers because of the above.

@ NSBTBOFL: you are correct there have been a few mistruths spoken/emailed to residents in regards to code issues. It's getting to the point where one does not know who to believe anymore.

The backyard has buried ponds which are filled with mosquitoes and larvae. The pool is filled w/garbage and rats. We need to have an abatement team come out ASAP!!!!
