Description
When the developer paved a new walking path and sodded the easement next to it, they did not put down any fill dirt or level the ground before laying sod down. Because of this, the ground is extremely uneven and has low points that will not drain properly. Since this area was not filled and leveled before the sod was laid, there is 4" - 6" drop off the back side of the curb at the street. In addition the 2 adjacent houses on Wind River Drive have a natural rock retaining wall that was added, but every time it rains dirt and sand are washing out and over the walking path from those properties. The easement needs to be leveled appropriately around the existing utilities (i.e. water) that are now 4 - 6" above ground level. The developer also did not remove any of the rock piles and trees where the path construction took place.
