We will look into this.

The city is looking into different solutions to help reduce the impacts of trash overflow and stormwater pollution. This includes systematically installing a new type of garbage can which keeps waste contained and covered, lessening the amount of contamination and debris being washing into our waterways. We also encourage and appreciate participation from citizens in keeping a "pack it in, pack it out" mentality. This can be done by taking doggie bags, take-out containers, and coffee containers home with you to be disposed of in the municipal trash system already in place. We will continue to look at areas in need of more solutions and appreciate your feedback.
