There’s a white school bus on the corner at 45 Truman Drive that’s been there for a few months and 2 cars on the lawn further up on Truman Dr. been there for years. A home at 98 Oak street selling lawn mowers, snowblowers Etc. and cars on the lawn. It’s a residential area not a business area. It’s an eye sore junk yard. The Code Enforcement Officer needs to do something about this and follow up to make sure it’s taken care of. This is an on going problem I see in Randolph.
Code Enforcement Officer drove by this vehicle today and the other 2 cars on lawn at 14 Truman Dr. and 98 Oak street and did not stop to issue warnings. Why isn't this addressed? Now I know why these vehicles are still there because nothing was done. No warning was issued on these vehicles on 4/1/2024.

Following the provisions of Chapter 40U of the Massachusetts General Laws regarding housing code violations, the Town must notify a property owner of a violation and allow two weeks to resolve the issue. If, at the end of two weeks, the owner is still in violation, daily fines are assessed. Unpaid fines are placed as a lien on the property. Regardless of these procedures, there is no guarantee that the homeowner will comply and the Town may not enter onto private property to maintain it. This issue has been assigned to Code Enforcement for review and an update will follow shortly. Thank you for your patience.
Please be mindful only one address per complaint. If you have more then one address please create another complaint. Theses are sent to the Owner with the citation.
The Owner came into my office and asked for a extension due to filling up truck to send supplies to help people. They were also told to park the truck in there driveway and not on the lawn. They agreed to have it gone by Friday 4/26/2024. If the truck is not moved they are aware they will get another fine. No further agreements will be made.
