We must first mail a letter to the owner of the property as shown on the County Assessor’s page and a letter to the occupant, if a single family dwelling and it is a rental. We will inspect one week after the letter is mailed. If Health Code violations are found, photos are taken and mailed with a certified letter to the owner and occupant. It is reinspected in a week and if the Health Code violation is still present an abatement may be done.
