The light change cycle is faster when a car is present. This morning at 5am I pressed the pedestrian button and waited. I watched the stoplight slowly go though its entire change cycled, as if it was rush-hour but there was not a car in sight. But once a car pulled up to make a left I witnessed the cycle speedup!! The lights changed significatly faster to accomidate the vehicle traffic. The pedestrian light changed to allow me to cross before the turning vehicle. But I know if the turning vehicle had not shown up I would have been waiting longer as the light change cycle is faster for cars then pedestrians.

Seems to have been tweaked. We'll see, if not I will reopen.

Still a long wait for pedestrians, when there is no traffic.
