Brilliant! That lid is not standard size and needed to be fabricated. This takes time for our welder to fabricate, then we have to pour them and let cure. Now you made a safety hazard by throwing the barricade away. Will check on the progress of the lid. Understand we don't just make one specialty lid at a time, but multiple for various locations. There's only about 19,000 inlets in the city.

Sir the broken barricade was laying in the street with jagged edges point upwards to pop peoples tires, I threw it in the garbage to prevent further damage to vehicles. A round plastic barricade would have been a better choice than the flimsy metal free standing barricade that was used. Ihave truly been trying to have this issue fixed and the driving hazard properly marked for 5 years now. This storm drain has caused front and back car damage, flattened many wheels and even knocked one person axil clean off their car. Since your comment nearly a week ago the barricade still has not been replaced.

And thank you for your help in the matter, I just feel like you were personally attacking me when I'm the only one in the neighborhood doing anything about it, other people just watch people total their cars and laugh about it.
