Description
The Keller Administration likes to talk a big game about equality and equity in the city of Albuquerque. However, we can't help but notice that, over the past 6 weeks, there has been no problem with maintaining parks in wealthier areas such as Ridgecrest and the "Northeast Whites", while International District parks such as Wilson (surrounded and utilized by THREE schools), Jack & Jill, and Lassiter remain overgrown with unmown grass and tall weeds such as mustard and foxtail, which are dangerous to pets. Is there a reason why Parks and Rec have yet to tend to these grounds? Area residents have noted for years now the correlation between unkempt parks and disuse by residents, leading to the magnetization of encampments.
Do better, please.
