Description
Currently in the City of Coatesville we have a recycling ordinance:
http://www.coatesville.org/administration/public-works/recycling
With fines associated with this ordinance:
Violations and penalties.
[Amended 7-26-1993 by Ord. No. 931-93 Editor's Note: Amended at time of adoption of Code; see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I. ]
Any person, partnership or corporation who violates or fails to comply with any provision of this Part 1 or any regulation promulgated pursuant thereto shall, upon conviction thereof in a court of summary jurisdiction, be punishable by fines of not more than $600 or be imprisoned for a period not exceeding 90 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
Yet this a number of photos taken this past week of the City's Trash hauler throwing cardboard into the trash which clearly is a violation of both the ordinance and the contract with the Hauler

Another insult to those who have complied with flattening and baling cardboard for years. Thanks for the photo evidence - harder to deny.
China comments about stealing of aluminum for recycling bins - this has been going on for years. The revenue the City gets offsets our trash bills, so it's like stealing from private citizens twice. I guess if you don't like supporting less-fortunate and industrious people who do this, you can save your own cans, take them to recycler yourself, and use that money to offset your City trash bill.

Reopened -
What is the corresponding citation tied to the contractor. You said the contractor was fined -Ok what is the date of the citation and the amount per the guidelines of the City's contract with Eagle Waste Disposal.??
Ok - where is the corresponding fine to the resident at 1115? If not citation was there a warning issued to the resident?
Any citation should be entered into the system and be readily available on
http://ujsportal.pacourts.us/Default.aspx
Using the resident/'s last name nothing is displayed. So how can you say the issue is closed without providing a corresponding link/proof that clearly shows that the resident was actually fined.
Oh and I'm screen printing and sending this to City Council because I'm have a number of postings removed by the admin from the City without authorization.
