It is very frustrating dealing with this problem but my advice to you would be to weekly contact City Hall and express your concerns make sure you call the mayors office and let his receptionist know of the problem along with your feelings of how you have to down grade your quanity of living because of the hardship and eye sore situation along with the rodents that are take residence in this rubbish. You can't give up be presistent by calling weekly keep a log as to who you spoke with and the date and time the conversation took place, write down whatevers said, that way you can remind them of the conversation which hold them accountable. Tony Mack is the head of this department call and ask for him to return your call cause they won't let you speak with him. Don't let them tell you he's on vacation because in my case he was on vacation from March until this month WOW at least that's what I was told. None the less you need a trail of the conversations to support you just in case you don't get the matter cleared up. Contact you city councel and make them aware of the situation you may even have to file a complaint against the city, if you don't keep you grass cut and rubbish cleaned up they will site you with a voilation so with the same law that they hold over homeowners they shoul be required to abide by too. there should be no double standards, I see them removing the rubbish for around the former Miller Homes seems like that more important than your living quarters; I think NOT. People are paid to do a service and if the house is empty the city is responsible to make sure that it's secure and clean from rubbish. That's what tax dollars are for, isn't that what the job is about. Not down playing the workers but the hold system needs to be accountable and the work needs to be done. Our city should not be looking like it's abandon it's the capital of the State of New Jersey and it needs to look like the capital in the north, south, east and west and not like a place of abandonment. We must push back to renew our city and not allow it to fall down by the way of unconcern people. Lets pressure the ones that handle the issues concerning the groming of our city to have them correct the things money is alloted for from our taxes that are to be used for the beauty of our city. So to all of Trenton when you see an eye sore and they are all over lets push the system to make the corrections that are needed to correct the problem Call the City Hall and voice you concern keep an eye on the situation and log all things concerning the issue don't be unconcern be very concern because this is were we reside and we deserve better so lets seek better for this city never forget we are the capital of the State of New Jersey so we are to look the part too. Tip my hat to the townships cause the take care of there areas so should we. It can be done beauty is what you make it, so lets work on beauty of our city.
