The picture doesn’t explain the situation. The hole in the asphalt is small(baseball). But there is a large void under the asphalt that is 3 ft deep and of undetermined width but the tape measure does not hit any sides underneath the asphalt. This is a very large hole with asphalt just stretched over it that could easily have a car tire sink into it or possibly a pedestrian fall through. I’m not sure what the weight limit is on suspended asphalt with nothing under it.
