The owner looks like she is the chaplain of Doylestown Hospital. I tried posting to the Hospital's facebook page to see if maybe if this gets the owner to consider taking action to help with the problem:

Also... the City of Philadelphia owns some of the vacant space on this lot as well, as does another owner "Mercury Group".

If there was a test candidate to see what the Land Bank could do to help fix this problem, this would be the place. It's hard to battle a trash problem when you have non-profits plus the City joined together willing to do nothing.

"Simple Way LCC" owns 3 of the 4 vacant parcels that make up that vacant lot.

I entered a 311 ticket for the garbage on the vacant lot.

I traced the owner of this lot to PAULINE SEXTON who lives in an expensive area of Doylestown, PA.

I looked up the Simple Way LLC registration. It's registered in Pennsylvania.

I googled Simple Way and came up with http://www.thesimpleway.org/ looked on the site and was amazed that the non-profit group is made up of a lot the the people who actually live in the neighbourhood. They don't live on this block but do live a block over so I am going to talk to them face to face tonight. They are a very nice "church" group so hopfully I will be successful!

Update: The Simple Way group has been doing a lot more cleaning in the area (along with all of the neighbours) they are also working on making the empty lot into an open park type of area. Thanks for the help Christoofar!
