The graffiti became part of an urban mural composed and orchestrated by one P. Christopher Ozyck. The artist, a close personal friend of this poster, is a man of many talents. Be it a tree, a Girlscout troup, some unwitting developer, and now this prominent blank canvas, Mr. Ozyck certainly makes New Haven much more livable, and now more 'paintedly vibrant' for the rest of us poor schleps. I'd like to take this opportunity to muster a round of applause for this dynamo. (Clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap). I will leave this open for another month because I'm sure some ignorant jerk will try to on-up our maestro with some filthy epithet on the jungle-gym about some deranged sexual proclivity involving farmyard animals!

Ugh...that should be 'one-up', not 'on-up'. You get the picture.

H.M.S. Has struck again. Personally I think it's the British tagging New Haven walls with their designation of "Her Majesty's Ship". I think it may reference the historical forbears of this New Haven neighborhood. First the Latin Kings and now this? No, not the British! I' m moving!

There's ALWAYS graffiti in Lewis Street Park. Like sands through the hourglass, so is the paint on our walls. "HMS" has yet to be removed. I would have done it myself, but have had little time. Seeing as the Parks Dept did a pitiful job with snow removal on the park sidewalks, I guess they have had little time as well.

Still there. No change. Not surprised.

There is still graffiti on the playscape. The community took it upon themselves to take care of the graffiti on the wall.
