I'm appalled that clearing homeless people from public places would be a focus of our city. Fixing potholes and street lights should be a priority. Where is the humanity?!

Have u lived near the homeless? When they set up, the graffiti starts, the dumping starts, the drug use starts, the urinating and feces starts, it's an ongoing filthy dangerous mess , the theft starts. That's why they need to be cleaned up, plus there is a sit, lie law in this city.

Naw, I'm with ReenaS- Solutions based on "broken windows theory" always have xenophobic and bigoted side effects, and have often been proven time and again, research-wise, to be ineffective. The best results have always been achieved by recognizing the city through its complex-system problems, and acting appropriately by HELPING as many as possible through well thought out and multifaceted actions.
