There are trees growing out of the curb all along Cresson St. too. I've contacted the city, the councilman, Septa and the Streets Dept. over the years as the trees kept growing. A tree finally knocked a big chunk of the RR wall down in 9/06 and the city is just now doing something about it. The wall will be replaced starting in August. Good luck with the issue. I'm assuming it is a street tree so you could try Fairmount Park.
