There has been multiple car crashes on this section due to cars speeding and running the stop sign. On 5/28/15 OPD was chasing a suspect in a vehicle that came to an end when suspect crashed the car into parked cars on the sidewalk around 330pm, a time where two elementary schools around the block release students and families pick up and walk their children from school. Luckily no families or anyone else was injured, however this is a diseased person bound to happen by speeding cars. This area is also prone to robberies at gun point and a murder from last year of a woman, whose suspects fly away in speeding cars due to no speeding bumps on this section. This is imperative. Again there are two schools around the block. Do I need to wake up both schools PTAs to bring about these speed bumps?
