Issue Closed

I don't know how in the world the City of Boston thinks the issue is "closed". No action has been taken. No new signage. No yellow curb paint. As of Friday, March 24, this issue has NOT been fixed.

Update, April 2012: No signage or curb marking has been installed. Typically, an SUV parks right up to the corner and travellers exiting Elkins street must creep into the on coming traffic of Summer Street. Another accident is just a matter of time.

To date, no parking signs or curb warnings have not been installed. This is a significant safety issue. This morning the school had kids on the sidewalk with an SUV parked within 4 - 6 feet of the corner. Visibility around the corner was impossible and the children were hidden until nearly completing the turn from Summer Street onto Elkins Street.
