(posted on behalf of Assistant Chief Luke Williams, SPPD) Thank you for your e-mail dated 06/01/2015. I have been asked to respond directly to you regarding your concerns involving a white Nissan Frontier truck, FL tag R8ABV that has not been moved in four weeks. Officer Godsall responded to the address on 06/06/2015 and located the vehicle parked on the street. (Event #2015125477) Officer Godsall was able to make telephone contact with the registered owner who admitted the vehicle had been parked for several weeks due to a mechanical issue. The owner has stated he would remove the vehicle within 48 hours. Officer Godsall also placed an abandoned vehicle sticker on the driver's side of the vehicle in the event the owner does not respond within 72 hours.
