Re-posting:
The most widely used excuse by plow truck operators is that the streets are too icy, and cars parked on the icy streets make it too much of a liability.
Should we have another big snowstorm this year, let's not give them an excuse and maybe keep the car in a paid lot. It may cost you some extra $$$ but at least you'll be able to get your car out easily.
In the meantime- this next wave of snow/sleet scheduled for today should have them out laying salt and brine again. If anyone in the neighborhood sees a salt truck, flag them down and let them know which streets are still bad.
I will be on the look out too.
You know, Natasha, now that I'm going through more of these issues I can see you've made this post quite a few times. On behalf of SeeClickFix, you have my gratitude. You've done too much for me to thank you personally each time, but please accept this post as the fullest expression of my gratitude.
It looks as if a lot of time has passed since this issue has been reported because of the snowstorm. I'm going to close this issue since it's probably not a cause for concern at this time, but if it becomes a problem again you can easily Reopen it by clicking the link at the top of the page. Thanks again for working with us to help make life a little better for everyone in Philly!
