why would she care? there are no term limits and she runs unopposed more often than not.

heck, some might argue that she was never elected in the first place.

I work up the street from this mess and it's true, it's LITTERED with trash.

Lots of old tires has been dumped on this lot from the tire repair shop next door. The sidewalk is sometimes blocked by cars parked on the sidewalk getting tire work done, forcing people to walk in the street ducking cars coming around the trolly tracks from a dangerously design traffic flow flaw.

just drove past it this weekend, it almost looks like someone set the lot on fire. and the cut the tree down but left it sitting there!

This lot is privately owned, it doesn't belong to the city. The storage of tires & other trash on this lot should be a matter for L &I.

What a disgrace!! Clean that mess up.

A closer look at the picture & the address, things doesn't match. The picture is of a lot next to the closed down Adelphia pizza shop which is near the corner of 56 & Baltimore Ave. A look at the OPA site shows this lot is owned by the Kennedy Printing Co., whose printing co. sits on the opposite side of the street. They should be responsible for the clean up this lot.

Of course they'll celebrate the beginning of school. Why shouldn't they? Their kids are nothing more than an additional welfare check to them. Those of school age can now be taken care of by the teachers since their single mothers simply do not believe that they need to take any responsibility to raise them. By the way, the PHA and HCV houses on Fitzwater and 22nd street did the same thing--a block party over the weekend to celebrate the beginning of school--drugs and all...
