This is so blatant! How many thousands of cars pass by? When the right lane is impassable, and all cars go to the left, some in the left cross the double yellow, oncoming traffic does not know what is going on, some truck not bothered by the water plows through and is surprised when a car in the left lane (always intending to turn right onto Valley but not wanting to run through the water) cuts across his bow. There may be an engineering reason, shallow pipes with river nearby or something, but there is no Excuse for Lake (Dick) Miller to have existed since I moved across Whalley in 2002! And now, the curbs and sidwalks and lights were rebuilt with only the most obvioius avoiding of this problem area!
