Description

There a large gap in the grate that is dangerous for a narrow bicycle wheel. A crash occurred here on May 30th. The bicyclist's wheel was caught in the grate causing them to fall and break their collarbone.

This grate really needs to be changed and I'm surprised more people haven't gotten hurt on it. It is right in the normal path that a bicycle is travelling , about 2 feet off the curb. The grate can easily have a tire slip between the bars and cause serious harm. In my case, it has resulted in a serious fracture that has required surgery to repair.
