Description

The traffic light at the intersection of Firmin Ave/ Willow St, Valley St, Boston Rd are timed such that there is traffic backups at AM and PM rush-hours. Problem began to occur after Oct 2011 power outage. Backups occur when heading east from Boston Rd (rt30) toward Pleasant St Connector (Firmin Ave) or west from Pleasent St Connector toward Boston Road. Just as traffic begin to flow through the intersection signal light changes to red. Traffic backs up onto Rt 9 when heading west during evening rush hour (4:45-6:30).
