Lower speed limits doesn't do anything if police dont patrol enough, people who speed are already breaking the law so what's it matter to them. Just needs more police presence. Drivers and pedestrians just need to be more aware and not act like they are the only ones on the road. My concern is the bikers that park at the end of Clinton, you can't make a left hand turn without getting out in the lane to see if it's clear or not. They don't even try to park cars out of the way, that's where the accident will happen. I drive this section of road several times a day, everyday and never see police. I know the police can't be everywhere but make an effort at least. When was the last time you saw a car pulled over on that stretch of road? I've seen one road block check point and NO cars every pulled over in the eight years I've been driving on it. You can't make every road a 35 mph speed zone.
