Description
when there are bands playing on the patio/ street outside of mcgeary's (usually thursday through saturday evenings now) the noise is very loud and travels up orange street - if not other areas. the music is so loud that even with all windows and doors closed I can still hear the music in my home at 17 Chapel street. the music continues to at least 10 PM which disturbs my family and I for sleeping. Can a noise limit or time when have to be done playing be put on the outside bands? can the band location be moved so that the noise is blocked by the buildings along clinton square?
this is now a residential area and we need to respect the needs of the homeowners and our need for quiet and sleep

The music is still loud. The owner was talked with my the city permit person. I called and asked for music to be lower. I was told that it will carry. This, still very loud.
How can we make this situation pleasant for the residents and businesses? It is more than 30% residential downtown now... Noise should not keep us up at night nor should we need to close up our houses to try to make it more bearable.
