Why is this issue not being addressed? It's obvious that the neighbors are unhappy with the conditions.

Tax record shows the home is still privately owned....not bank owned.

Is this going to be addressed or is the city going to continue to ignore the pleas of the neighbors?

Why is it closed if it has not been resolved?

I guess I don't understand why this is closed. It is still an issue. The tarp still blows. I understand the City is now imposing fines on the homeowners but that appears to be falling on deaf ears as no one is taking any responsibility for this house. It took over 6 weeks of tall grass for the grass to get mowed! Please this is still a problem.

The grass was mowed recently, but the place is still a dilapidated looking eye sore. Frayed tarp hanging from the roof, weather worn furniture on the front step, fence in bad shape. Who knows how many more years it will stay in this shape.

Update from the Codes Compliance Department: Thank you for your post. As you can see in the update we made in response to the original complaint, two active cases were opened for investigation - 15-8645 for property maintenance (including the disrepair of the roof) and 15-12171 for overgrowth. It was the overgrowth case that was closed to compliance on 8/7/2015. Another overgrowth case (15-22312) was subsequently opened on 9/23 and closed on 10/13. The property maintenance case is the only active case for this address at this time, and it continues to proceed through the enforcement process.

Unfortunately, when multiple issues are reported for one location, they could potentially be resolved at different times resulting in our closure of the SCF issue that corresponds to a particular case.

Thank you for the clarification on this property. Hopefully the dilapidated condition will be resolved soon as well.

It's an eyesore.

There are so many eye sores the city doesn't do anything about. Just use to seeing it every day? Many of these gas station/convenient store owners to. Disrespectful. Wish the green code that use to be in St Pete was still in effect.

I saw the City truck there today as I drove past and the ripped up blue tarp had been removed from the roof. Still rotted furniture on the front step, but at least it isn't as bad an eyesore that it has been, or we are just getting used to it.

It's really not all that bad.
