Now that drug dealers @ 302 & 310 Howard busted, drug business at corner of 2nd & Howard is going to expand. They've already put shoes on utility wires here [= signal that drugs can be bought there]

one drug dealer arrested on corner c. 6 weeks ago, dealer in barbershop next to Eddys arrested c. 1 month ago, yet crowd/loitering persists. Crack packets all over sidewalk. Need CONSISTENT police presence here. [Note that this is only 1 block away from Betsy Ross School.]The sidewalk is part of Eddys lot/property, so owner should be given notice [arrested?] that he is knowingly tolerating drug dealing on his property.

I just cleaned up all of the trash/litter in front of Eddys and dumped it in front of store entrance before opening time so as to "assist" store owner with his legal obligation to maintain sidewalk. Neighbors repeatedly have asked store owner to clean trash from his sidewalk--which city ordinance requires--and he refuses. He also KNOWINGLY allows ILLEGAL drug dealing and ILLEGAL loitering on portion of sidewalk he owns. Only way to get his attention is daily fines.
