I apologize for incorrectly associating the debris in the 1148 lot with the construction that had been going on at 1141 S. Cleveland. It did appear that the materials that were dumped in 1148 were the remnants of construction that had occurred at 1141 (including a makeshift ladder that had been used to gain entrance to 1141 before the front steps were put in). However, the 1148 lot has been cleared and another neighbor mentioned that it was cleaned by a group that had been doing construction BEHIND the 1148 lot.

Lot has been cleaned.

Thanks Corey. I know there are often some careless contractors/developers working in the neighborhood that give the rest of us a bad reputation, so it's often an uphill battle to show that you're doing the right thing.

Any kind of dumping, or even something as minor as smoking on site is grounds for dismissal by anyone working for our contractor or their subcontractors. Our offices are in the neighborhood and we stake our reputation on the quality of our work and being a good neighbor.

Coincidentally the ladders used for entrance from a number of our houses were stolen so I wouldn't be surprised to see them show up elsewhere.
