We bought a house on this street 11 years ago. We were not from Woburn, so we did not realize at the time that Center Street is not a priority for the city and that requests for repairs are generally ignored. We pay property and excise taxes just like other residents of the city and would appreciate our children having decent sidewalks to use for walking to and waiting at the bus stop on rather than the middle of the street. We would also like for our vehicles not to have constant issues with the tires caused by potholes that have not been fixed properly and crumbling pavement all along the street. Please repair the street and fix the sidewalks. We have been waiting patiently for long enough. Thank you.

I am also a Center Street homeowner and it is a disgrace that an area so close to the center of the City is so poorly maintained. Isn't this an election year for Aldermen? You would think ours would want to step it up a bit!

Yes it is and we have 2 alderman weird 2 different ward and they handle each side of the street

we are clearly in limbo! We should have twice as much attention with two representatives "working" on our behalf.

Lets see what we can do for this area. I did go by at 5.00 a.m. this morning and did count10 cars parked on the sidewalk. I will speak to all parties that can help get this area into better condition. I think we can work together..

I see that Tucker did come by and saw cars on the sidewalks but the main issue I am speaking about is that the paving on the street condition is very poor I can say near me its probaly a lot more kept I'm out there cleaning up constantly and I am actually waiting to see what happens on the street to repave my own driveway as we are the owners of the property on my side I say across the street a rental property they do have parking in the back but the landlord tells them thats there parking on the sidewalk in front of the house . Illegal 6th apartment there by the way as well. Alot of other neighbors don't show interest as well as most of the bigger homes are rentals and they come and go all in all its a old school neighborhood where everyone is there to help everyone that's why it would great. Thank You

I see that work is being done all around us and still not one wind of when Center Street will be taken care of sidewalk and street paving I mean the whole length of the street is probably 1/4 mile and it should not break the city budget to do this. Like I have said in the past we pay taxes and should really be looked at like any other neighborhood in Woburn. I feel since we are a One Way Street on the side of a Main Street
that we never get attention . I hope that some how the City can finally give us satisfaction for once the street all in all is terrible to drive on even tho I have a fairly new SUV . Hope to see results again. Thanks William Velasque
