It is just amazing that you could not find this huge tree. Unless you did not want to. Just go on Walnut Lane toward CUYLER Road. There is this corner house on the left, first house at the corner, few steps on CUYLER Road, there is the BIG TREE. Maybe you need a microscope to see it, I hope not.! I would appreciate your help with this tree. This tree is almost on Cuyler Road, it is not on anybody's yard, it sits between first house on Cuyler and Walnut and the second house on Cuyler. Once on Cuyler just lift your eyes toward the sky, you cannot miss this tree, unless you are blindfolded or you do not want to help the tree! Thank you Virginia

I am just very surprised that you could not find this tree Cuyler road and Walnut lane. I went there, the tree is very visible, it is invaded by the vines. THIS HUGE TREE SITS Between 408 Walnut Lane and 55 CUYLER ROAD! I hope you will find it this time! Do not take it on the tree, the tree is innocent. The town Arborist, Ms. Konopka visited the site of the tree today and has prepared an excellent workplan to deal with both the vines and surrounding brush. I am so happy to have met her, as the previous town arborist had this tree set for removal. I am very happy that she has making this tree as healthy as possible and also being so kind as to go out of her way to spend a lot of time examining the tree and the surrounding brush and explaining everything she was planning to do. The town has a very long list of to-do items, I am very happy that this is on the list. Thank you.

ps: virginia thank you for bringing this issue to the attention of Ms. Konopka -- however -- you might not realize it but your tone seems very rude, we should all be thankful we have such a great arborist in this town.

Tree-person. I am glad that Ms Konopka is going to save the tree. Your comment about me being rude is ungrateful and actually rude. That tree was in front of your property, in front of your eyes for years, yet you did nothing to help it, you just let it become covered in vines, you did not care about it. I did something about your tree. I remember telling you about the tree and you said LET IT DIE! Now you are twisting the truth, and calling me rude! AGAIN it WAS your tree, you saw that tree every day, but you did not CARE about it!

This tree has been added to the work list and will be attended to in the near future.

The Maple tree has been removed due to extensive decay n the main trunk, hidden by all the vines. Once the crew began pruning out the deadwood, it became apparent the entire tree required removal. If possible, the stump will be ground out and a new tree replanted.
