Description
The "beaver hill trail" near 16 Oakwood Ave needs to be fenced off to prevent the steady stream of drugs, crime and vandals coming from 10th st. to Oakwood Ave.
The city permanently fenced off and locked the "stairs trail" between 10th St. and Oakwood Ave (a bit further up from Beaver Hill Trail) but they ignore the crime pipeline that is the Beaver Hill Trail.
If Beaver Hill Trail was closed off, the crime element wouldn't keep walking up to Oakwood Ave to transport drugs, break into and vandalize our vehicles.
I've watched (and yelled at) these little ghetto rats throwing rocks at houses and cars numerous times. We've had both of our vehicles windshields broken from rocks being thrown at them. That cost us $450 out of our own pockets to have repaired!
I know it's not city owned but it has become such a problem that the city should just come close it off. Whoever owns the property now obviously doesn't live nearby and doesn't maintain the area.

Nice job fencing off the drug pipeline folks! It is sad that you had to go to this length (and personal expense) just to keep the drug dealers and drug runners out of our backyards.
The Troy police could have (and still should) just go down to 10th street and clean out the INCREDIBLY OBVIOUS drug house at the bottom of beaver trail. That would be a much more permanent solution to the current problem.
If the TPD drug & street crimes units were still in existence, this quality of life issue would have been dealt with swiftly months ago.
