These potholes have been getting progressively worse. They now accumulate and hold water and breed mosquitoes in the summer. Please do something about them.
These potholes have been getting worse in the past couple of years. They are very deep, impossible to avoid, and create danger to the underside of cars. Plus now they accumulate water and breed mosquitoes. Please fix them.

Agreed. It used to be possible to avoid the potholes, but it's getting very close to the point where I wouldn't drive through for fear of axle damage.

How do we get this remedied as an "Alley" issue? There is not an "alley" category option in the drop down list.
I'd guess the city is trying to close this and open a new ticket as a means to punt and not have to reflect a long wait time between complaint and fix. They get to treat this one as an improper complaint, and then have a quicker response time on the alley repair request, if such a request is even possible, @SaveCH.
It is now 9/22/15 and this issue has still not been fixed. It needs to be fixed before winter. The mosquitos may be dying off, but soon this will pose an issue in freezing temperatures. These will become four giant ice slicks.
It is now 1/5/16 and this issue has still not been fixed. These potholes bred mosquitos all summer, and now they're frozen over. They are enormous, and these enormous frozen pools are a hazard. The city will be liable if someone wrecks their car or someone is injured slipping on the ice in these giant pools of neglected potholes.
We have also had significant problems with moisture in our basement right beside the potholes. We have hired workers to assess the moisture issue, and they have all theorized that the water pools have made it easy for water to seep through the ground and into the basement, and this has damaged property located in the basement. It's to the point where we have to keep items stored there well sealed and on top of pallets! We are handlings this issue as best as we can on our end, but the city needs to take responsibility for this problem. I'm told residents have been trying to get these potholes fixed for more than 4 years and the city has just ignored them, and it's gotten worse.
The city's indifference on this issue has gone on long enough. It's unacceptable. Please fix these potholes before they cause any more damage.
