I live at 201 Ellsworth Avenue. It is not our house. This is happening at 195-197 Ellsworth Avenue. 201 Ellsworth is the red house. Not the dilapidated one. Please make sure to correct this and specify **exactly** which house you are talking about because we, as the unfortunate next door neighbors do not want to be inadvertently included in this mess that's going on next door to us. We do agree with what you are saying, though. These people do not take out their trash. They've got garbage bags piled up on the second floor porch/balcony that we have had to look at since they moved in about 4-5 months ago. They are constantly screaming at each other and their children, very loud and disruptive, and lay on the horn and scream at each other when they want the other one to come out of the house. At least they evicted (about 1.5 months ago) the other tenants who were selling drugs from the house at all hours of the day and night. It used to be a lot worse. But I agree, these people have got to go. This house, the conditions in and around it, are a total disaster. I can only imagine what kind of environment the young children are living in if the parents can't even take out their garbage. Someone should call DCF on these people.

Someone please evict everyone in this house. The trash piling up on the second floor porch and in the yard is ridiculous. A blight upon a neighborhood/block that's otherwise doing OK... not even sure how they got to move in in the first place. I shudder to think of what the conditions are like inside the house.

Who's the landlord ? You should contact LCI, they can investigate discreetly and get rid of the garbage problem, they did when I had "trashy" neighbors.

Call LCI, and DCF. If there is garbage piled up on the porch and the adults constantly scream at each other and the kids, then the conditions inside can't be good for those kids. Also, take pictures and document each and every event that takes place there, with date, time, and what happened. After a few weeks, make copies of the photos and documentation, then give copies to the landlord. It will help him get them evicted faster.

Since February. When we get a live person on the phone all they do is tell us that they are very backlogged with pothole issues and other city issues and they will get to it as soon as they can. I also told LCI to call me when they have followed up with our neighbors but they never called and obviously they never followed up because nothing has been done. We archer in the process of trying to get a hold of the landlord. In the meantime we will be calling DCF and documenting everything. Thanks again for your sound advice!

I'm not sure how to update the address. I used what I thought was an approximation but I didn't realize that the housing numbers were descending. I'm confident that those of us living at 201 won't be included in this mess other than being witnesses to what we see and hear.

Detailed documentation is everything, without documentation like photos, detailed records, it is very hard to get someone evicted even if they don't pay rent. My mom is a landlord and it took a year to get a bad tenant out.
