My neighbor's garage burned during an electrical storm, causing major damage to my house. When the neighbor re-built his the garage, it was larger than the Roseville building codes allow, and closer to my house than city codes allow. I feel that this is a threat to my home and my family, due to the fire that happened recently. What is going to happen to my house if this new garage catches fire? I talked to the City manager, and emailed the mayor, and every city council person, yet they granted him the appeals anyways. I feel as if I have been discriminated against, because my neighbor told me that he has friends that work fo the city. How can they justify his code violations, after I almost lost my house during the last fire? It tooks me months to fix the problems caused by the fire.
