Slumlord will not keep property up. He has allowed water to continually leak in to basement causing serious mold problem. Many of the tenants and their children are becoming and needing health care because of the mold. LCI came out but seems reluctant to take action. The mold is so bad it has spread to all the units and is in the air of the entire complex. A test kit that collected a sample of the air yielded vast amounts of mold spores overnight that is how much mold is in the air and on/in the walls.
If anyone knows an attorney to help us please leave your card in any of the mailboxes or #4 at the building. We all have small, young children and this is a very bad situation and the landlord does not care. He has even threatened to kick a couple families out for whistle-blowing.
Please help.

Property was inspected by me personally last week I found a small amount of mold at the botton of a small linen closet in one unit evidence of mold at the property at that time. Basement and two other units were inspected one tenant was advised not to put damp to towels in closet. property will be inspected again on 1 / 09
