This busy intersection (Edgell rd and Central St) is in desperate need of a traffic signal. Many accidents have happened there. I work for a collision center 10 miles away yet still get customers from this terrible intersection. Please Framingham, this has long been needed

A. This busy intersection (Edgell rd and Central St) is in desperate need of a traffic signal. Many accidents have happened there. I work for a collision center 10 miles away yet still get customers from this terrible intersection. Please Framingham, this is long needed.

The Town is well aware of the deficiencies at this intersection. Although there is no immediate plan to take on this project, the long term plan is to look at this intersection and the rest on the Edgell Road corridor and have it be part of a larger Capital Project. This however, will not take place for several years.

This intersection was not included in that work, and it is not just a simple task to drop in a set of traffic signals. As I had stated previously, the Town is well aware of the deficiencies at this intersection. Although there is no immediate plan to take on this project, the long term plan is to look at this intersection and the rest on the Edgell Road corridor and have it be part of a larger Capital Project. This however, will not take place for several years.
