The entire 1000 block of Newton Street, NE needs to be replaced -- if is in horrible condition!! I watch people trip and fall in this area ALL OF THE TIME!!! One must focus 100% of their attention on the sidewalk while traversing this block or they will be stumbling or falling. This is a very busy section of sidewalk since the metro station is so close. Last week I saw an elderly nun stumble and almost fall to the ground. Replace the whole block please!!!
