Do you mean trash like in, garbage that they should be putting out for pickup? Or bulk trash? Either way, if it's attracting rodents, this is disgusting. Is the home owner-occupied? Homeowner is Carl Hunter. Is Nick Licata still with LCI? I would call the mayor's office and make a stink. Also call WTNH, and who is your alderman? Have you contacted him/her?

BJG, Nick left last fall/winter to become a city firefighter and ever since he left, things like this have fallen apart in the district!

That's a shame, I was not aware that he left. He was truly on top of things, the only one at LCI we could count on.

Completely agree with BJG, it was a serious blow to the department! LCI is having a hard time filling the position too as we thought we were getting someone a couple weeks ago, but they didn't accept the position so we are STILL without a specialist...

BJG - Yes. Trash that should be being put out for pickup. The residents have since left and upon move out, moved all the trash to the front sidewalk. It has since been removed, thank god. We do not know who our alderman is. Just praying to god that whomever decides to move in next, fixes the place up. The tenants are gone but the house is falling apart.

BJG, no they are doing an outside search. I don't know if they posted internally, but if they did they didn't get any candidates. There are problems throughout many neighborhoods that our neighborhood specialist would have been on top of, but the fact that we still don't have one is just making things much worse!

As of today, we STILL have no dedicated specialist and I heard that for now, LCI will be splitting up our district with existing specialists.

There have been a ton of complaints about people parking on the Edgewood Mall lawn area - also, raging parties/incredibly loud and disrespectful neighbors on Edgewood and Norton Ave. A specialist would (hopefully?) help with that problem as well.

Update on the LCI specialist: as of today, we STILL have no dedicated specialist so my management team co-chair is going to go down to City Hall and speak to the LCI director Serena Neal-Sanjurjo to find out what's going on. He is also going to call Frank D'Amore to see if he can get someone to come out and deal with our issues in the meantime.
