Description

There are insects building nests under the slide at the playground in Maximo park, when children go down the slide closest to the swings, they disturb the nest and get stung. and the ants are biting children.

My neighbors tree overhangs our yard. Today i noticed a VERY large amount of very agitated Bees , swarming in this same tree. I'm not equipped to remove these creatures and my neighbors are what i'd comsider to be elderly. Its only a matter of time before someone is attacked by wjat looks to me to be "africanized bees", something REALLY needs to ne done about this.

Update from Parks Maintenance Staff: Yes, all nests were removed from under the slides and platform that day. .Spraying does not keep them away. They can come back and build again. Staff is always checking. Thank you for your post.
