Ansonia's police force has PLENTY of staffing to handle a patrol like this. It's as easy as snapping a finger. On a bike? Not so sure, but you see APD vehicles doing laps all over the city "looking for crime" all day long... certainly putting one where we know crime is occurring would ne a better use.

I would have to agree with you on that. It would help.

I walk there regularly. It's a shame, these kids are not using the skate park. They insist on using the Riverwalk stairs and pavilion for their stunts and stupid stuff.

Teen brawls Ansonia Derby Shelton all going at it. Acid pot booze, you name they on it down there on the walkway after dark. Lits of baseball bats hittin heads this last week.

Something has to change for the better. Its just getting worse and the kids are just getting younger everyday that this happens.

Local departments could connect many of these kids with the small robberies. Check the local pawn shops. Especially by Big Y. Wink

So after the almost overdose and minors partying above the print shop, will the problems be evicted? One taken to the hospital a couple months ago and the minor, after throwing up across the street with Shelton PD, is given a ride home. Why not brought to hospital too? Hows the investigation into the thefts going? Minor finally arrested in Ansonia but whats going on with partner? Hes over there. Its known they hit Shelton homes too. What gives?

The answer to this is to stop the drug trafficking epidemic!
Parents must also be held accountable for allowing their kids to party after dark. Aren't they in school? More programs needed for all the kids.
