Be careful what you ask for. While this intersection can be dangerous and sometimes difficult to negotiate, especially if you try to turn left from Cary's Chapel onto Wythe Creek, installing a traffic light would probably cause real backups. Morning traffic leaving Poq is already heavy and if you add a light, it would backup all the way to Victory or beyond. Evening traffic would back up past NASA. The city/state is very unlikely to widen either road due to the confines of the creek and a major expense for a new bridge. A traffic light may not be needed if the state would ever 4-lane Wythe Creek Rd. People that live here for some time, just accept the fact that sometimes it is better to avoid turning left by going the long way around through town.
