Please update the timing of this intersection light. There should be a blinking yellow left turn signal onto Whitaker Mill from Atlantic as visibility extends for more than a mile. The extended delay does not increase safety. Also, make the timing of this light consistent throughout the day. This intersection is getting increasingly busy & folks are getting impatient with inconsistencies in the traffic light.

On this particular matter, we have learned that a flashing yellow arrow is being considered for this intersection, subject to review of plans. Also, please note that the timings change throughout the day per volumes of traffic, which is the same as any other corridor. Staff has checked times and volumes and technicians have monitored the intersection at different times throughout the day and all is working properly at this time.
