Description

The site is probably a private cemetery lot for deceased members of the Wilder family (for whom Wilders Grove is named, I imagine). It is clearly visible from the gas station as well as New Bern Avenue. There are four or five disintegrating graves enclosed in wrought iron fencing. At least two graves are above-ground ones, and the cement "lids" of the coffin-sized cement "boxes" are slipping off or have been knocked off. Very creepy looking! That is, it would be possible to look into the cement vaults. The fences are in disrepair, and the vegetation is overgrown. Clearly, these graves or small "cemetery" haven't been maintained at all for a very long time. If possible, they should be repaired and maintained and/or moved to a functioning cemetery, public or private.
