It's getting worse daily, more smashed windows, more graffitti. Urban living presents enough unique challenges [& advantages, or course], but there's NO reason municipal inaction should be adding to our problems. Every day a mess like this is allowed to exist gives neighbors the impression that the administration does not care about our neighborhood, gives undesirable neighborhood elements the impression that they are the ones who control this neighborhood, gives the good residents here reason to despair that the neighborhood is spiraling downward.

First floor windows now covered with plywood, but 2nd floor still has broken windows. ALL windows visible from the street need to be covered with plywood until building is re-sold/rehabbed, etc. Otherwise it still invites continued vandalism and creates an eyesore [more of an eyesore than the plywood...]

We are working on getting all the issues fixed at this property. Unfortunately, we can only require the owner to board up the windows that would allow access into the building. The City's graffiti contractor is also aware that this property needs to be cleaned.
