this is the THIRD time I've reported the need for plowing on this street. today 2/14/2010 the city came by and salted the foot of packed snow and ice that has remained on our street, turning the street into an impassable mush which my car just got stuck in for 40 minutes when I drove home from work (8 p.m.). if you're going to salt the street, you must plow it immediately or else every car that tries to pass will get stuck.
