The left turn arrow for North bound traffic on Monroe Dr. occurs at the begining of the cycle along with the other North bound Monroe Dr tarffic so both lanes are able to proceed. The South bound left turn arrow is at the end of the cycle but only the Green is the left turn arrow. So if the 1 of the 1st South bound cars wants to turn left they stop the inside lane which is what I do as well as there have been MANY accidents at this intersectioni. But at the end of the cycle when the South bound Green Arrow does illuminate...the continuce South bound Monroe Dr traffic is RED so if 1 car is in the inside South bound lane...we all sit? I understand letting North bound go 1st with the popularity of the Amsterdam Walk Shops but whynot let both lanes continue South at the end of the cycle like the North bound lanes do at the begining of the cycle?
