I think if you look at most traffic lights they have clear indicator lights that change when traffic lights change. Watch out I think some fire trucks have them too.

Seems premature to assume it was not for legitimate reasons. Maybe they're checking to see if you're distracted by your scanner. Let them do their job, it's more important than whatever you were doing.

Most if not all police cars and fire engines have this device to turn lights green in the direction the car or truck is going.. so I can buy one and use it because I don't want to wait for lights?? no.. so why can the police use them because they don't want to wait.....

The next time you personally need a police officer, I hope that he will observe all of the traffic laws while driving to your location. Personally, I'd rather have him get to my location as soon as possible. If that means you have to wait at a traffic light for one extra cycle, oh well. The Police Department in Wickliffe as well as every city lately seem to be taking a lot of unwarranted criticism. I for one think they do a great job, day in and day out.

What makes you think that Wickliffe PD are "the worst cops in Lake County"?
I have found them to be one of the more professional departments in the area, not just Lake County.
I would also be interested in hearing why you made this comment.

The people posting negative comments here are using this forum to vent their frustration, probably due to their own poor driving habits. Aawww, what happened? Did you get.tickets for speeding? As far as I'm concerned, God bless our police and fire departments, in any city.
