说明
The property at 91 Osborn Avenue is a mess. The bushes are totally overgrown and are a driving hazard because you can't see around them. The grass is uncut, there is trash in the yard and the leaves are still piled everywhere from the fall. It is a total eyesore. Please clean everything up immediately!!!

There appears to be a group of young people sharing the house. I think they are nice kids; a bit "hippy dippyish" I imagine the state of the prpoerty is a combo of thinking its "natural" and being just out of their teen years sort of like your high school bedroom only outside. We have had a number of situations like this in the neighborhood with Southern students and I always wonder what they would think if they went back to their parents' home in the burbs and the neighbor's property looked like this.
The untrimmed bushes also make it impossible to walk down the sidewalk on the Goffe terrace side.
So if you are reading this "Grow Up and Clean Up!"

Your name underscores our point. You seem to be teenage hippies from the suburbs "slumming" it in New Haven. Did the houses you grew up in look like what you are living in now?
I work as well (long hours) but I take the time to clean up the trash in front of my house even though it was thrown there by someone else or left behind by the garbage crews. I also pull my toters into my driveway.
I am sensitive to keeping my sidewalk unobstructed so that my neighbors don't have to walk into the street.
We, your neighbors, are not looking for "aesthetically" pleasing we just don't want to be looking at a trash heap.
Finally we are not snooping. Your back yard can be seen by anyone walking down the street. And its not weird, its called community and you have a responsibility to the community.

Hey,
You can feel free to contact me via e-mail eringaeltalbot@gmail.com, we have followed up on trimming the bushes and mowing the lawn, the leaves just started falling so we are going to rake. I can't speak for my roommates but I have never had this issue at other apts/houses I have rented so I've been caught a little off guard by the amount of attention we are receiving. I looked up online and it is common for nicer neighborhoods to take concern with neighbors properties if they feel it is making the neighborhood look bad. We are doing our best to keep everyone happy I just would prefer to be contacted directly instead of calling the city on us. Also like I said,I'm not sure that it was you specifically but there have been multiple instances where my roommates and I were taken aback by strangers in our actual backyard, not just walking by.
