There are three handicapped spots in a stretch of 4 houses, and all of the handicapped spots are used by family members who have no handicap! One family has their 19 yr. old new driver using the spot, another house has TWO cars that two non handicapped members take turns using. It is a disgrace that these people have the nerve to use these spots so flargantly. They should be ashamed but instead, they flaunt it knowing they screwed everyone else out of parking in front of their homes. What's worse is if they actually needed a handicapped spot, they could all use the one each of them has right out back of their own house!

the nineteen year old was sharing her disabled mother's vehicle. Having someone disabled in the family can cause serious financial hardship's,therefore you make do,as in sharing a car. I must admit I'm surprised my neighbor's would question the need for a parking space for my wife. this woman has survived two brain surguries,cancer,stroke,and flat lining(dying) three times.Too many seizures to count,and would still do anything for someone in need.I guess she must have been a terrible person in a past life to have to endure all she has gone through and now to be attacked by neighbors who don't know and don't care enough to find out the fact's,before slinging there arrow's of prejudice,and causing more undue pain.I'm sure an apology will not be soon coming from such a cowardly person.But I'm sure this person will ask for a favor tomorrow!

In reply to the first comment, the 19 year old that is being discussed here was not directed at your wife and daughter's car, It is the one further down the street where there are 3 handicapped spots in a row of four homes. My apology for the confusion. The frustration is down further where two houses in a row abuse their appointed handicapped spots. In the past week, one of the houses had their 19 year old using the handicapped spot to come and go on her daily routine, and the other house had the person in their house who actually has the handicap walk out and right past their car parked in the handicapped spot and get in their other car parked somewhere else on the street, and not just once but several times! This is blatant disregard and abuse of the system, plain and simple.

It's happening on my street in Clifton Heights too. No car-sharing is going on. Just accept it, there's nothing you can do about it.

The one house has the wife and daughter use the handicapped spot that was given for the husband. The husband never takes the car that sits in the handicapped spot, the daughter and wife use it as heir own personal parking spot, neither one have any handicap at all!!
