What is the status of this issue? The grass is long, the garage is still unsafe...the place is an eyesore blight on this block :(

Health and community service cleaned up the garbage yesterday there and at 311 mason. Building dept will have to provide update on grass and garage. Mark

Thank you for the update and the clean-up! How long should I wait to hear from Building Department...it's been 16 days with no word except the acknowledgement...should I call?

Hi Neighbor. I'm sure they have the complaint and if they keep two databases like we do, update SCF periodically. I'm sure they will be commenting soon but you can also call.

No one takes care of business like our Health Department!! I'm spoiled because you respond almost immediately to posts here (the latest I think was 48 hours after post) and take care of the issues.

Update: garage and all first floor doors/windows have been boarded up (don't know by whom) and trash is gone. VERY HIGH weeds/grass remain. I will try and post a picture later...but for now, could someone please answer this question: What recourse(s) do we in the neighborhood have to get this VACANT, BOARDED UP, NEGLECTED EYESORE either fixed up or torn down? MOST of the other homes in the surrounding area going north, south and west of this house are well-kept. Homeowners, renters & landlords doing their best to make Canton a good place in which to live!! Isn't there anything that can be done to force the owners of this house to DO something? Please. Any wisdom, any advice?
